In the 2 years that Jimmy has been with GtC, he has endeared himself to a number of programs.Everyone that speaks about him does so fondly, noting his relaxed demeanor and respectful interaction style with those individuals he supports. His supervisors are appreciative of his flexibility with shifts and assignments, and availability when unplanned openings arise.Jimmy really seems to connect with people, a quality important to success in challenging environments.Detta says “he is very, very good”, and “he does a good job with us”.Joe Z adds that Jimmy has a “great attitude, because he is warm and friendly. He is understanding with me in the mornings.I’m glad that it’s him that is there.”
Joe G and Josh
Now that the cold weather is over (wishful thinking), GtC would like to pay tribute to our “Winter Warriors” who rose to the occasion, fulfilling their responsibilities to the agency and their programs. People really came together to prepare for the storms, and stay for longer shifts. Leading the pack was Joe G, who walked miles during snowstorm Nemo to ensure that he arrived at work. Supervisors came up with a list of those who went above and beyond during the snow: Jimmy, Ous, Juliana, Martzarelly, Deb C, Jen A, Dimas, Celia, Paula, Stephanie A, Matt D, Rodlei, Michelle E, Milly C, Wasiu, Kiara, Linda, Stephanie J, Alex, Hector, Jenna, Chip, Ariana. Thank you for your commitment—you all served as great examples of dedication to the people that we serve.
